Effective June 11, 2012, the Schuylkill County Housing Authority will begin accepting applications for the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program. Applications will be taken Monday through Thursday between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Applications will be accepted indefinitely.
How to Apply:
Applications for the Public Housing Program and Section 8 Program are taken at the Authority's main office, 245 Parkway, Schuylkill Haven, PA, Monday through Thursday.
When coming in to apply, please bring proof of income, and birth certificates and social security cards for all members of the family.
The application process begins with a personal-type interview.
During the interview, a staff member will explain both housing programs.
After the application process has been completed, the applicant will be notified in writing of their eligibility.
Applications can also be taken at the Authority's various developments by appointment only.

Persons with disabilities may request a reasonable accommodation to have an application mailed to them or to make an appointment to have an application taken at their residence.
